So , my boyfriend likes skinny ties right ? i , however love to vintage shop and i came across this tie in a vintage shop :

i love the pattern , the color , the texture everything about it but it's not skinny so i got it anyways . but then when i was home the other day and i knew he was coming over i just figured i'd try and do something with it.. so this is what i did and it came out pretty much amazing .

Two things :

One : went to Passion Pit last night , they were so amazing . I'm currently compiling some footage from the show.. it's not ready yet tho . I was completely blown away . I heard that a previous show my friends went to was pretty dull . That obviously didn't stop me from going but I was a little skeptical about it . I'm glad I went tho .. it turned out to be a wonderful surprise [or what i wanted to expect !] . The crowd was wild and the energy was flowing so well . Good good times !

Two : saw Where The Wild Things Are . Oh Em Gee . It was such a fun , cute , happy , angry , sad , and all around one of my favorite 'books made into movies' . I grew up on the book , and I'm so happy they made it into a movie . I loved the way it was filmed , super good .

Harmony in korean [rather Hal-moon-ey] means Grandmother . A.k.a. my friend's mom , a.k.a. bobby b , a.k.a. bobby bottleservice . So anyways , I was at the airport table in service this morning and I pretty much got off to the worst start today , no shower , woke up 5 mins before I had to leave ... which NEVER happens to me , oh please ! But , the whole time at the table I was thinking to myself how flippin' hungry I was and it was making time go by so much slower . My friend and I were gonna be relieved by her parents , she's half korean and half white too and her mom is exactly like my mom except a little older so I call her my harmony . My point of all that rambling was that she brought us breakfast , and it made my day 100% better . Korean's are all the same , they recycle their sauce jars and plastic ware .

Oh , and it's my brother and sister-in-law's 2nd anniversary today . So , congrats to those two loves birds..

Just went on Wednesday . I got a pass so it's on.. I plan on getting my money's worth . It was so nice , we never waited for more than 15 mins for a ride . It was gnarly hot outside but it was nothing unbearable .

For the first time today this thought came to me ...who in their right mind would want to finally reach a goal after a year of working hard JUST to start over the next day ?? Well , I'll tell you who ...a regular pioneer . It's so crazy to think about it that way , but it's the truth . So today marked the start of my third year . I'm excited/torn/tired/open minded about the year ahead of me . It's gonna be good , I think I've finally got a plan ! [which is totally crazy..]

universe is shattered... and I know that is supposed to be funny but I'm totally serious . I just watched "The Boy In Striped Pajamas" for the first time . That movie is mind-blowing . It seemed too short.. I wish it would've been longer . I just bawled my eyes out tho.. Throughout the entire movie there are just the most saddening parts you could think of . So much desperation in those people's eyes . Very powerful film , not as if we are dealing with that sort of thing nowadays , but it makes you put yourself in that scenario somewhat and think about it . What if that were me ?

I wish all movies that I watched made me think that much . Oh , if only . Just wonderful.. and so sad .

Thanks to Jarek I've been watching a ton of Arrested Development . It's such a funny show , I love it . the humor is so dry and smart , there are endless quotes . love it !

On another note , Catalina = best trip in years ! I had so much fun , it was so relaxing . I took a nap EVERYDAY , that's right.. everyday . I never can take naps at home , it just doesn't happen unless I'm like sick or something . Anyways , can't wait for next year , it's going to be even better ! I loved all the people I went with and I got a nice little tan .

I couldn't believe how normal she was , that sounds really weird but it's so true . Her cousin is one of my close friends and they had a dinner for her and her fiance Mark and it was a blast . So fun and chill .

Leaving the blog for weeks and not posting anything ...

Well , the answer is no . I haven't... but I have been M.I.A. for

a little while , what with all this moving and hall switching and

everything . Let's just say things have been a little crazy .

I moved to La Jolla | La Jolla hall . Double moving = BUSY !

Among other things , I got rid of my facebook . Such a bunch o'
drama . You delete people and all hell breaks loose . I guess
it wasn't that bad but I just didn't care for it , beside the people
I really want to talk to , I have their numbers and they have mine .
I've really been bookin' it on my school and I'll be done by October
31st . In November I got to Korea so it will be fantastic timing !

Let's see , what else ?
I am going to Catalina for a week on Saturday .
OH , and today I lost my job .....again . But this time it's for good ,
there are no "take backs" this time . Such a bummer but I'm interviewing
at a medical spa tomorrow so hopefully that works out !!

Breathtaking views, and we watched the fireworks from ABOVE. Now I'm going to climb Mattress St. Chelsea, the most comfortable bed in all the world.

I put a map of the world up in my room today. A few handfuls of places in the United States, a smattering of places in Europe, a few stragglers in Mexico and Central America. Some people's maps have just one pin - a singular pin to cherish, or resent. Others have thousands of pins and a thousand different stories to tell. I don't think everyone should be forced to travel, but if you have it in you, it's an unstoppable force.

I'm preparing myself for the next few months. Pioneer School starts the 20th, I'm going to Louisiana for a week in August, and I leave for Mexico in September. We bought one way tickets...If Puerto Escondido is all I think it might be, I just might have to linger...

I always like coming back home, though. I don't think I'll ever find a place I love as much as home. But I'll certainly let you know if I do.

That pretty much has absolutely nothing to do with anything . So , tonight for me was a super fun night . Met up with some friends : Sarah G , Chowder , Lauren and Michael S , and Richard . Went to downtown , had dinner at Sushi Deli [yumm] , and a quick trip over to Urban Outfitters of course . We had quite an experience at Sushi Deli tho ... not only were we there for like four hours cus our food took forever , but we were literally surrounded by crazies . But we had a good time ! I have the pictures to prove it , trust me .. I've even got duplicates .

I've been in Encinitas since last Wednesday .
It's been nice.. since I don't have work right now ,
I figured my free time would better be spent up here .

Probably would go crazy if I stayed home.. I'd spend
money and that's the last thing I should be doing right now .
We've been having a lot of fun tho , the deCamp's are like
family so we just all kind of do whatever . We all just love
to spend time together .. I should go home soon tho ,
never wanna overstay your welcome ! Anyways , last night
they had a bunch of guys spend the night and Scout and I
were the only two girls "allowed" , it was pretty hilarious .
All good times tho , we made crepes this morning for the boys .
Turned out pretty good , I really enjoy cooking for others and
so does Scout , so we make a pretty good team . Along with
Austin of course , he was a great helper !

I've Lost My Zeal..

Warning : This post is going to be extremely "emo" .
I've noticed within myself that I'm calmed down a lot ,
since even last year . I used to be a lot more fun and peppy
and... fun . I don't know how to explain it . I'm more happy
to just stay home or go see a movie with my family than
I am going out and partying or whatever . I used to never
be that way , I don't know what changed me... well , that's
not necessarily true . It all started when I sparked interest
in this guy and he made me wanna be a "better person" ,
or I could rephrase that , to be happier with myself [?]
I thought about that tonight when I went to see Up ,
which was an amazing movie . Go and see it !
It's got comedy , adventure and best of all a PLOT !

Unforeseen Occurence .

I have been so busy that I haven't had time to

think of what I want to write about .

This morning I got an email at 6:30 , you're

probably thinking "why was she up that early

to check her email ?" I asked myself the same

question . The email was such a bummer , the old

lady I take care of everyday fell last night and

cut her head , she'll be in the hospital for a

while as well as rehab . So , I'm out of work

for the entire week .

I'm actually excited , even those the money part

sucks I have time to do stuff . I think I'm gonna go

on a day date with my camera . It should be awesome

since I haven't picked it up in weeks ..

I have been waiting for hours for this moment. I picked up my sweet little Bible study/friend at two today. She's 9. This usually means I get to treat myself to four hours of brownie-making, swing-flying, slide-sliding, magic-marker drawing, Bible Story Booking, multiplication-tabling, make-belivey fun. But today, I had made a special purchase, and I just wanted to enjoy it.

Does the word TREE STAR mean anything to you?

Oh, Petrie, you are my favorite.

When I was little, I would watch The Land Before Time over, and over, and over again. And the time has come for this grand cycle to begin once more. You should have seen me trying to convince Ms. 9 Year Old that we should watch this. She was not having any of it.

I also started studying with another 9 year old yesterday. The daughter of a Mexican woman in the territory who is also studying. Bring on the 5-15 year old studies! If you learn to love Jehovah when you are young, you are good to go now..AND FOREVER! (cue boisterous applause) It may just be my calling. After all, they are the only ones that let me listen to my Folk Rock Kingdom Melodies, and they are definitely the only ones that sing along to the books of the Bible song.

So last night I participated in some karaoke . It was a lot of fun .

All the guys were doin' these gnarly rap songs and it was a blast ,
just to watch them . So it got me thinkin' about how a couple

of my friends and I would listen to this song called Blazin' Arrow
by Blackalicious and we'd get pretty into it..

First of all, the singer in that group is named "Gift Of Gab",
so you can only imagine what's it's like to spit his rhymes .

So, just for kicks I tried it this morning, and I still got it !
I'm pretty stoked about that rediscovery .

Eat Right For Your.. Who Cares !

So, on Monday I started this diet "Eat Right For Your Blood Type" .
I just know that it has really successful endings.. but I am only on
my fourth day and I wanna die . It's so difficult to eat this way..
It pretty much changed everything I think and know .
I'm having anxiety attacks because I can't eat whatever I want .
Well, maybe not that extreme but you get my drift .
I've basically been hungry since Monday morning but I can't
necessarily eat anything that's really going to make me "full" ,
so to speak .When I work out, I'm so so hungry but all I can
think to eat is lettuce .I'm not complaining, I chose to do this .
It's just funny because that realization when you
get older that you can't just go somewhere and pick
whatever you want to eat and not worry is over..
and it's a little scary .

I will be the happiest person alive when I see the results tho !

Oh, What A Weekend..

I guess I could say this entire week has been pretty crazy .
A very busy, non stop week , kids on spring break and
hot weather equals a lot of beach time and hangin' out .
I'm actually just really really tired, and I think I need to just
focus on my homework for a while . I feel like an old lady some
times, after I've done a lot one week I just want to rest the next .

So here's a brief synopsis :
Wed . Went to DeCamps [spent the night]
Thurs . woke up early made a VIDEO with Scouty .
Fri . [Jojo spent the night] got up at 6 went out in service then off to the beach .
Sat . went up to LA . Getty and Griffith Observatory
Sun . went to morning meeting with DeCamps and layed out in the disgustingly hot weather , and watched a movie and the office/30 rock with Scouty .

Like I said . Busy week .

Haven't had anything amazing to report lately..

Funny story tho, I went to a casting call at
American Apparel [potential workplace -- hopeful !]
So, I'm watching as the line get's shorter and shorter
and I get closer and closer to the guys runnin' the show .
Personally, I hate interviews . I don't like trying to impress
people , it just makes me uncomfortable .
I'm not nervous at all for some reason tho, and I'm totally
laid back and chill this day , I didn't even put on any makeup
or dress up and whatnot . Which is funny, you're trying to make
a lasting impression in order to be remembered and get called back ,
and this is how I show up . Typical of me !
So ! I'm next in line, the girl in front of me is basically the equivalent
of a brunette Pamela Anderson , clothes/hair/makeup/nails...
She sits down, and the guy interviewing just makes her look so bad .
"First of all, we're going for a natural look . You wear too much makeup,
you're hair is too done up, your nails are all glittery, and the way you dress ...."
He asks the girl if she could change all that and she was like " OH YEAH ! totally.."
I'm sitting here thinking riiiiiight . But totally stoked cus I showed up lookin' like
I did.. so I figure I have a shot at this . Let's hope within the next couple of days
that I get called back in .

I Now Know What I Want To Do..
Actually I always have..
but this morning I've really realized .
As I sat in bed with my usual cup of Chai Tea
this morning, I was doing homework .
Of course, I got sidetracked and started looking at
photo's on flickr . [9 hours go by...or like 2]
I know that I want to eventually start up a
photography business but how/when is my issue .
It's the last thing I need to think about now with
everything else on my plate .
It was just nice to know that I have something that
is concrete in my life that I actually know I want to do !
It's comforting, and I always lose myself in those
photographs . Such as THIS one .
I love black and whites, and I wish I did more of them .

In my own little world..
[maybe that shall be the title of my business.. ;)]

Bag Lady .

When I was about 14, 15, I used to collect all the
bags from when I would go shopping .
For whatever reason, I just liked the different
logo's and things of that sort .
So, one day I decided since I had so many bags
to "decorate" my bedroom with them .
Needless to say, they came down after one day .
Mama wasn't too happy with that .
I got out of the habit pretty quick after
I found out that I wasn't allowed to "decorate"
with them anymore . Bummer !

I still do admire design tho .
This is my favorite nowadays .

Make It Stop !

So, I've realized that I'm worse than a perfectionist .
I'm so frustrated when I'm not good at something..
For instance : with school they said that if I could type 80 wpm
or more than I could skip the entire module and just move on..
The ENTIRE module, that would take like an entire week off of school
for me . And I know how to type, I can type pretty fast but when I'm
copying words that I'm not saying in my head as I'm typing I'm like
an infant on the computer . And I make a lot of mistakes , I've realized .
My hands are positioned correctly becus I'm constantly reaching for the
backspace button . Gawd, I suck !
So now, I have to do like a million typing tests, the lady that is teaching the
course types 130 wpm, that is so gnarly . I can't even picture what that looks
like.. Oh, and on the test to see if you type 80 wpm or more, guess what I got ?
a 70 ! a... 70 ! What kind of nonsense is that !
Anyways , this is what the typing tests look like.. I feel like I'm in 7th grade in
computer class again . Haha .

I Can't Breathe !

Right now, I literally can't breathe .
I woke up this morning and I was sick , so bummed .
This is the third time . I'm so over it . I can't stand
being sick becus then I can't really get anything done
without my sickness lingering on and on, I just have to
rest, and when I rest I think I get even more lazy .
Anyways, I started school a couple days ago, and so
far it's going good, I'm learning things I already know,
for instance the computer aspect . But it's always good
to review these things.. it's just a lot of reading .
I've been out of school for a few years now so I haven't done
this much reading in a while . I'm kind of going stir crazy
when I'm studying becus I wanna be doing something rather
than sitting on the computer reading all day . But it will all
pay off in the end so I'm stickin' to it !

My mom and I go to IKEA like once a month just to go .
We went today cus I wanted to buy a cabinet for my
bedroom but they didn't have the color I wanted so I ended up
pushing this cart around for nothing..
I remember as a kid my favorite thing to do was to ride them .
.........wait, it still is .

I need to get better by tomorrow ! I can't miss service .
Oh please let me get better !
By the way, my C.O. -- Bro Baughman, is one of the most
amazing speakers I've ever heard ! there's three C.O.'s I will
always remember - Bro Nash [Hyde Park, NY] , Gary McKee [Palm Desert, CA]
and Weston Baughman [Pacific Beach, CA] . In his talk tonight, he brought
out something that was actually really hysterical to me .
You always hear people saying "the economy sucks so the end is near.." .
But Bro Baughman said, "when Jehovah acts, it's not going to be gradual,
it's going to be quick and sudden !" so we keep trying to figure it out, but
really nothing is a sign that it's coming .
I hope that made sense.. my brain is kind of clouded right now .

Somewhere In A Field..

I played drums for 6 years, learned crazy complicated beats .
Tried to gain a unique style of drumming, but it's funny
the music I listen to or I should say the music that really
captures my attention isn't what I thought it would be .
For instance, I don't know what it is, but the "steady hi-hat"
beat just gets me every time . That's why I'm lovin' this song
right now .

Also, last night we had round 2 of our Light Painting sesh's .
We went to this field by Devin's house.. 5 girls, 2 camera's,
a tri-pod and some flashlights , and we're solid . It was really
fun, and we came up with some pretty funny stuff .
This is my personal favorite .

ps . paid for my course this morning , and I'll be starting "school"
in a couple days . I'm excited, and tired just thinking about
all the studying I'm gonna be doing for the next few months .

Been waiting for an email from a friend in Nicaragua .
It's been about a week or two since I emailed him..
I'm going to start a course pretty soon and I need to know which one he took .
Hopefully , by this summer I will have quit and gotten another job .
Working from home will help me with pioneering a lot .
Also, I don't think I can last at this job, yesterday was just about the worst
day there . I will spare the details. Quite gruesome if you ask me .
It's just so sad when she shows her personality because when her dementia
kicks in, it's hard not to take it personally . But I know I shouldn't anyways .
Now, I will just wait patiently for that email so I can start learning again !

So, after a dramatic day at work, and not being able to move forward with
my new job venture, and being totally stressed out !

...I believe the only thing to do is to keep smiling .

I set myself on fire at the Regional Building Committee on Saturday.

After we finish making breakfast, we always have a brief meeting to assign lunch duties and cover a point of interest like food sanitation or decorum and presentation. Our meeting for the day was on fire safety. We had a brother come in and set up laptops and speakers, distribute pamphlets, and give a great presentation with all sorts of acronyms like PASS and RACE and ASAP. It was great. After our meeting, I went into the kitchen and set myself on fire.

Okay, in reality, we were making Cheeseburger Soup (?) and I was stirring the giagantic pot (vat, really) to prevent it from burning. I turned to talk to the sister to my left. Her eyes grew wide. "YOU'RE ON FIRE!" she gasped. I looked down. "Heh. I'm on fire." my brain said. My apron had caught fire, and was steadily working it's way towards my pants and flesh.

Now, I don't really get alarmed in these situations, so I wasn't all that concerned, but the sweet sister launched into all the steps we had just learned. "Smother the source!" She used the bottom of my apron to try to smother the flame. When that didn't work, she grabbed a colander and started whacking my stomach with it. I am audibly laughing at this point, but realize taking off the apron and throwing it on the floor is probably the best idea. I do so and the sister does an amazing dance on top of it, trampling the flame to smithereens! What a champion.

After the ordeal had passed, people around us started to gather and act alarmed. "FIRE!" someone yelled. A little late, buckaroo. The only evidence of our little fire safety demonstration was a smoldering apron on the floor and a boiling pot of Cheeseburger Soup.

Well, someone had to be the sacrificial lamb for fire safety day!
I guess I'm not quite domesticated yet.

So Devin calls me and says that she wants to do something .
Of course, I'm totally down .
We decide on taking some photobooth pics .
That didn't turn out to be the ones we wanted ...
Took them at Corvette Diner, thought they were the
old school ones but they weren't .
Still came out pretty funny tho .
I totally parallel parked on the left side of the street,
which I've never done before and it was hard !
Walked around downtown Hillcrest for a while ,
bookstores , oh did I mention we had milkshakes at the diner ?
Yeah, then Devin didn't finish hers to we gave it to a homeless
man in a togo cup , how thoughtful she is !
His name was Dan Francis .

THEN, I text Zach and asked if he knew where the
Old Rope Bridge is.. he totally did ! I was so stoked
that the first person I asked lead us in the right direction .
We did long exposures, met some annoying teenagers who
wouldn't stop shaking the bridge and did some light painting .
The pictures will be on flickr sometime within the next hour .
Basically, we won at everything we did tonight .
It was pretty amazing .

I was announced as a regular pioneer tonight !
When the P.O. pulled me aside and gave me the letter,
my heart starting pounding like crazy !
I started like hyper-ventilating and I couldn't comment .
My parents didn't know anything about it , it was pretty
much a surprise to everyone .
When it was announced, my mom punched me and said
"I can't believe you didn't tell us !!" it was just like I planned !
Written in my journal was "SUPPLIES!" in big letters, due to
this joke .

Starting my day tomorrow with Chelsea at 5 am !
Ugh ! We are gonna be dead in the morning..
Esp becus I'm so filled with excitement that I can't calm down .
Gonna try and go to bed right now ,
we shall see if it works .

Actually no... it'd be more like PEE-KNUCKLE .
If you've never heard of the game Pinochle,
fear not, you are totally normal .
It's not a very well known game , however
it is a fun game once you learn all it's ways .
Getting to know those rules is the hard part tho ,
there aren't that many but for some it may take
years to perfect this game . Basically everyone
[or the 4 people playing, two teams]
get dealt 20 cards each, none are left in a pile .
You must play to win each hand . [as in - you throw
down 4 cards and you want to win each round .]
There is trump, runs, marraiges, pinochles ..
and did I mention there are only Aces, Ten's, Kings,
Queen's, and Jack's in that specific order ..

We played tonight .
Chelsea, Mom, Dad and myself .
So fun, two pro's and two not so pro's .
Very balanced.. still good games tho .

I actually wanted to say how wonderful it is to have a
friend that doesn't mind coming over and hanging out
at my house playing cards with my parents .
I'm tired of people who constantly have to be OUT doing
something . I can't keep up with that..
Don't get me wrong, I love to go out and do stuff . Just not
at all times ! So it is nice to have people who share my
feelings on that sort of thing .

It was so good , excitement at all times . Comedy, and good spirits !
Mattson 2, extreme talent as always I presume . It was the second
time I saw them tonight, they played with Ray Barbee .
He just might have the best personality while preforming , has a bright smile on !

Went to Claudine and Barak's for dinner,

I left at around 9, I was just tired and didn't
wanna drive too late..
[Side note - went to go see one of my RV's today
who I study with , and she was on her way out
to go to the doc to find out if she had a concussion .
She was driving home super late from L.A. and fell asleep
behind the wheel . Thankfully, she said she just
hit the guardrail , but her airbag did not deploy
so she hit her head pretty hard on the steering
wheel . So scary that you can fall asleep while
driving . Just glad she's ok !] or you can watch the video here

Apparently I'm Not Allergic To Bees

I've just had the most amazing afternoon of my life.
I mean it.

At school, I rambled through class and got a parking ticket. A girl in my poetry class asked me what I was reading (I had my reference Bible and Keep Yourself In God's Love book out). She was a Christian and leafed through the book for a bit. Sweet. I will bring her a Bible Teach or YPA book on Thursday. Sweet.

I went for a walk on the beach at Blacks after class. It was an unusual walk. Half way through, I felt a sharp, lingering pain in my left foot. I looked down to see a bee ferociously spinning around, its stinger lodged in my arch. I felt a little odd. I didn't quite know what to do. So I looked around the beach for a bit of help. The only humans nearby were a buck naked man and his fully clothed wife. I hobbled over to them and pointed to my foot. The wife sprang to action, ripped the bee out of my foot and extracted the stinger. Sweet.

Apparently I'm not allergic to bees. Or naked old men.

Then, on the way back, two lifeguards in their truck stopped me.
"Can we ask you a question? We have a bet going on...What are you listening to on your iPod?" They guessed WHAM!, techno, or hip hop.
Little did they know, I was listening to My Book of Bible Stories.
Oh, oh yes.

For the next two hours, we spoke of everything under the sun. Scriptures, theories, prophecies. It was one of the most amazing witnessing experience I've ever had. I don't think I've ever talked to anyone for two hours straight. We talked until the sun started to go down and it began to get cold. Thankfully, they gave me a ride up the hill. So sweet.

It's true, you never feel happier than when you get to talk to someone about Jehovah.
The afternoon could not have been better.
I don't even mind the bee sting.
Sweet.

Midnight Swims & Love Feasts

So, Sunday night was a lot of fun. I didn't document the wild (but chaste) dancing that went down, partly because I didn't have my camera and partly because such brilliance could hardly be documented on film. I have to give it up for each dancer on the floor for having entirely unique and unusual moves.

The midnight swim that followed was the whipped cream on a dessert of an evening.
If Alysia would have been there it would have been the cherry on top.
But that's you Alysia, always leaving them wanting more...

As far as I'm concerned we've got two weeks of wanting more ahead of us.
Time to catch up on servico y ejercicios.

So, I was looking online to see if they had a playlist .
Turns out they have like a blog here .
I really liked this video out of all of them .

Musically Inclined..

people are awesome .
Some are just naturally talented .
It definitely takes a lot of learn instruments .
Takes some people years to really get the hang of it .
Others it may takes days, but it's awesome that people can do it at all .
When I was unemployed, I'd literally sit on youtube
trying to discover people .
Some are more than awesome .
I wish I would pick up my drumsticks again,
or hit my fingers against ivory white notes..
it's just too time consuming .
Sad, but true .

I like this girls rendition of "Naked As We Came", by Iron & Wine .
[one of my favorite bands]
She's so cute, and sounds like she doesn't speak proper English .
Anyways, I liked it, hope you enjoy it too .

That would be Korean for : "I'm tired" .
I'm learning my native tongue .
My poor grandmother in Korea, and all my family
over there for that matter .
I know she is sad that we don't speak the same language .
Trying to plan a trip there this summer .
Hopefully, I'm not in over my head .
It's such an amazing country, even 9 years ago it was
absolutely fascinating, imagine how much it has changed .
And how much it has grown .
I can't wait to go back !
I miss my Harmony[Grandma in Korean] !

Oh, so I guess all that was supposed to lead into me
saying I'm tired from all the stuff I've been doing .
I guess I wasn't made to go, go, go like some people .

I was at my Grandparents for dinner the other night and I was looking thru photo albums, and somehow we got on the topic of their ONE wedding picture they got . My G-ma was 16 and my G-pa was 21 . The picture they have from their wedding is teeny tiny , so they went to Wal*Mart[bad idea] to blow it up and it came out horrible ! SO, with that being said, immediately I asked for the original . I took it home cleaned it up on photoshop, and I sent it over to Costco to be printed out . It should arrive in the mail anyday now . Also, I remembered that I had a photo of my Grandparents wedding, but somehow my G-ma didn't remember that one . So, I'm gonna surprise her with it blown up and possibly framed . Here's one of the shots I cleaned up .

What's In Your Lunch ?

I was quite proud of myself when I came home from work today .
Decided to eat something that was gonna make me feel good .
And not something that was going to make me wish I had never heard of food .
Which of course as we all know is my usual diet .
I looked in the fridge, saw a piece of chicken and broccoli .
There you go .
A "healthy" meal was created .
I've been trying not to eat carbs, cus that turns to sugar and goes straight to your..
Yeah . Meat and veggies without carbs is always a good choice .
So, here's to anyone that eats healthy , you're my hero !
